Tutorial: Invest in a Preset

The whole managed path, one tap at a time. Everything below is in Simple mode, which is what every new account opens in — you don’t need to change anything. Labels in bold are what you’ll see on screen; the “what you’ll see” line after each tap tells you you’re on track.

Before you start: a Telegram account, and some crypto on any supported chain (or an exchange you can withdraw from). Plan on about five minutes.

Open Polyburg

  1. In Telegram, search @polyburgbot and tap Start. You’ll see: the bot’s welcome message with a 🚀 Open Polyburg button.
  2. Tap 🚀 Open Polyburg. If Telegram asks whether the bot may message you, allow it — that’s how deposit and withdrawal confirmations reach you. You’ll see: the app opens on the Presets tab, with four tabs along the bottom: Presets · Copy · Rewards · Wallet.

Read the welcome card

  1. At the top of the Presets tab is a welcome card headed Polymarket’s best traders, working for you, with a three-step checklist. Each row is a tap-through; a row turns into a when it’s done.
RowWhat it says underneathWhere it takes you
1 · Activate membershipFirst month free with an invite code. (or Your first month is free — you were invited. if you came through someone’s link)the membership screen
2 · Add fundsFrom $10 — arrives in minutes.the Wallet tab
3 · Invest in a presetSteady, Smart, or Sharp. That’s the whole job.the invest sheet

The same three steps drive the big button at the bottom of the screen — it reads Claim your free month / Start free with an invite code / Get membership, then Add funds to invest, then Invest in Smart as you complete each one.

Two minimums, one sentence. The card says Invest from $5 and step 2 says From $10. Both are true: $10 is the smallest deposit that survives the bridge fee; each Preset then sets its own minimum investment, shown on the invest form — for some Presets that’s lower than the deposit minimum.

Activate your membership

  1. Tap Activate membership (or the bottom button). You’ll see: the membership sheet, eyebrow Polyburg access, headline Membership needed to invest in Presets. If you were invited, it offers your free first month directly — one tap and you’re done. Otherwise it shows the monthly and yearly price and a Get membership button.
  2. If you have a referral code but weren’t auto-attached, don’t pay yet: go to Wallet, find the Membership card, tap Have a referral code? · Apply ›, enter it, then come back — the free month applies. You’ll see: checklist row 1 turns into ✓ Activate membership.

Add funds

  1. Tap Add funds (or open the Wallet tab and tap Deposit). You’ll see: the Deposit screen with two selectors: Token and Network. The Network selector carries a Min $10 badge — that minimum can be a little higher for expensive chains, and the menu shows each network’s own Min.
  2. Pick the token you’re sending and the network you’re sending it on. You’ll see: Your <network> deposit address with a ⧉ Copy address button, and two warnings: Only send <tokens> on <network> to this address. Funds auto-convert to USD on your balance. and Deposits under $10 may be lost entirely to that bridge fee.
  3. Copy the address into your wallet or exchange and send. Send only the token and network you picked — an address issued for one network cannot receive funds sent on another. You’ll see: the deposit listed under recent deposits, then your balance on the Wallet tab. A direct Polygon deposit lands in about a minute; bridged deposits take a few minutes. What arrives is slightly less than you sent — the bridge takes a small network fee; Polyburg charges nothing to deposit.

Pick a Preset

  1. Back on the Presets tab (header line: Pick a preset to invest in), the selector at the top shows the three Presets — Steady · Smart · Sharp. The on Smart (labelled Recommended for screen readers) marks it as the recommended start; a Preset showing Soon isn’t open for money yet. You’ll see: the selected Preset’s card underneath.
  2. Read the card top to bottom:
    • The chart, captioned How Smart has done (or, before there is a live record, What $1,000 would’ve done copying these traders · last 30d), with 30D / 90D range pills and an that explains how the chart is built.
    • The lineupSmart copies these traders for you — tap one to see their record. Tap any avatar for the trader’s full profile, then come back.
    • The summary cardSmart Preset, with rows Aim, Bad month and Min investment. Bad month is the one to read twice: it’s what a poor stretch looks like, and the honest measure of how the Preset will feel to hold.
    • How it works (the ⓘ How it works pill in the header) — the plain-words explanation of custody, fees and the chart.

Every Preset can have losing stretches, and prediction-market positions can lose most of their value before the event resolves. Invest only what you can leave alone.

Invest

  1. Tap Invest in Smart (the button at the bottom of the screen). You’ll see: a sheet titled Your Smart tradersWe’ll copy these N traders for you — each with copy rules tuned to how they trade. Tap a trader for their profile if you like. Footnote: Tap a trader for their full profile. We swap traders automatically if one’s risk profile drifts.
  2. Tap Continue. You’ll see: Activate Smart — one checkbox to read and tick: I understand Polyburg’s algorithm will copy-trade Polymarket positions on my behalf, sized to match the Smart risk profile. I can pause anytime. I may lose money — up to the full amount I put into this preset. Below it, two plain-words panels — Fees (a per-trade fee on every buy and sell; the exit fee, if any, stated as a percentage of what comes back; no lockup, no performance fee, nothing charged on the way in) and Execution (trades copied in under a second via a dedicated node).
  3. Tick the box and tap Continue. You’ll see: Invest in Smart. Two cells at the top — Available to invest and Already invested — then the Amount (USD) field with Minimum investment: $N under it and a Max button beside it. If your Preset caps how much one person can hold, a line above the field tells you your headroom.
  4. Type the amount (or tap Max). You’ll see: the helper line under the field change: Invested at the price when your money lands, not now. means you’re good; Minimum $N. or Amount exceeds your balance. means adjust. If your balance is short, the button becomes Add funds → and takes you to Deposit.
  5. Tap Invest in Smart. You’ll see: a toast — Invested — waiting for confirmation — and the sheet switches to a progress panel: ⏳ $25.00 is on its way into Smart · Payment received — placing it usually takes a few minutes. Safe to close this screen; it will appear under “Already invested” when done. You can tap Close and carry on.
  6. A few minutes later the panel (or the Presets tab) shows ✓ $25.00 added to your Smart investment · It now shows under “Already invested”. — followed by a nudge you can act on later: You now copy Smart’s traders as a basket. Want one of them at your own size? Open the Copy tab to pick one and copy them directly. Tap Done.

One investment confirms at a time. If you try to invest in a second Preset while the first is landing, the sheet says An investment into <Preset> is still confirming — wait a few minutes and try again.

What you’ll see from now on

  1. The Presets tab is now your dashboard (header line: Add more anytime — no lockup.):
    • Your Smart investment — the value of your stake, your profit or loss as +$X (+Y%) with the caption since you invested, and Invested $X (what you put in). While money is still landing: ⏳ $X confirming — usually a few minutes. It’ll appear here when it lands.
    • Add more to Smart and Exit buttons.
    • The chart, now captioned How Smart has done — the whole Preset’s record, not your personal number. Why the two differ →
    • Active Positions / Last Activities — two tabs showing what the Preset currently holds for you and what it did recently, with an Updated … stamp.
    • The lineup, now reading You copy these traders through Smart — tap one to see their record, and a Copy a trader directly card — that’s the door to the second tutorial.
    • A one-time hint — You’re set up. Want to pick traders yourself? Browse the traders list. — same door.

Add more

  1. Tap Add more to Smart. You’ll see: the amount sheet again, titled Add to Smart, with your Already invested figure shown. Same rules as step 13–15; the button reads Add to Smart.

Exit — some or all

  1. Tap Exit. You’ll see: the Your investments page listing each Preset you hold, each with an Exit Smart button.
  2. Tap Exit Smart. You’ll see: the Exit summary sheet. Two shapes:
    • Partial exit availableExit part of your Smart investment, or all of it. The rest stays invested and keeps working. An Amount to exit slider with $N min and $N max, a field for a precise figure, and two buttons: Exit $X (the amount you chose) or Exit full balance · $X.
    • Full exit only — when your balance is under twice the minimum: Balances under $N exit in full — choosing a smaller amount needs at least $M out and $M left behind. One button: Continue → Exit. Above the buttons: Estimated payout (net) with the exit-fee arithmetic spelled out (or Before any exit fee), and how many small position slices, if any, are too small to sell and are written off as dust.
  3. Confirm. You’ll see: a toast — Exit queued — and, back on the investments page, On its way to your Polyburg balance — usually a few minutes. Safe to close the app; we’ll keep it moving. When it lands: Paid to your Polyburg balance. Your money is back on the Wallet tab.

If Polymarket itself is in maintenance or down, the Exit summary opens with a panel — Polymarket maintenance in progress (or outage) — and an offer: You can withdraw your free cash ($X) now instead — the rest stays as positions until the exchange reopens. Tap Withdraw cash only…, read the interstitial (it names exactly what comes out now and what stays), then Withdraw $X now — or Wait and exit later. Your money is never stuck; the positions simply wait for the exchange.
